Generator Rex in TKO!

Cartoon Network has a new show that premiered this past Friday called "Generator Rex." It's a cool action show done by the same studio that created Ben10. For more on that, you can check HERE.

Today, we add Rex to our collection of robots in "Titanic Kingfubot Offensive!" I will say, he is very fun to play, and his special moves are some of the coolest in the game. Below was my first pass at transferring Rex's look to our robot shell.

600

So wow... 600 posts.

I think this means so much to me, because each and every post represents a learning experience. Something that I am "trying." Something I am sharing. I have so far to go in this eternal pursuit of artistic understanding, but sharing my attempts has made each step such a fun experience.

I know I sound like a broken record... but THANK YOU to all who stop by this blog and leave notes of encouragement. Thanks for the emails. Thanks for the visits! I don't do this to get recognition, but it is so cool to hear from people who comment on and critique the work I show.

I look forward to the next 600 posts. Along with the great upcoming projects here at Cartoon Network, I am working on a side project that I should be able to announce in a few months. It's something that I am having a lot of fun with, and I think you will enjoy!

One last time, thank you.

Getting Back To Work

Running around this morning catching up on things.
While I was away, this guy made his way into TKO on Cartoon Network.com.

Tomorrow, a real post!

Headin South

Hello and Happy Monday!

This week, I pack the family truckster, and head to Florida for a mini-vacation. We will be visiting with family, and of course going to Walt Disney World. I have the opportunity to now see the parks through my kid's eyes, and it is pretty cool. Not only do I remember hanging out at the Magic Kingdom with my Grandfather when I was a child, but I also had the chance to work there for many years growing up. It's also where I got my first professional art job, so my memories of the place run deep.

This week though, my role is "Dad." I make sure things happen. Yes we can ride Buzz Lightyear. Yes Cinderella wants to see you. Yes we CAN make it to the bathroom. No, you can't have another ice cream.

While I won't have time to post on the blog, I will try to tweet. Follow me on Twitter! (Wow that even sounded lame.) I promise some photos, and plenty of witty banter. Ok. Maybe only the first part.

Thanks so much for following the blog, and I look forward to my 600th post the week I return!

A Modern Family

Running around this morning... not much time.
Hopefully I can finish this one up.
