Today I wanted to share a rough "storyboard" from my story "The Skybreakers." I have been writing and re-writing... and as I go along panels like these emerge. They are not final in any way, but with me being such a visual boy, I like to see things as I go. In fact, I am almost to the point in the process where I start laying out all of the pages in rough form. (My favorite part.)
I had the opportunity to see "Coraline" in the theater this weekend, and boy am I glad that I did. My one word review? Magical. Visually stunning, and a breath of fresh air. Congratulations to the team at Laika for creating one of the most inviting pieces of entertainment I have seen in a very long time. Do yourself a favor, and see this film in the theater. I saw it in digital 2D, but will be doing my very best to catch it in 3D while I still can.
