The Postcard

So this is where the postcard ended up. I had to do it quickly, but I think it came out ok. I only hope they help me out with the printing. It is so dark, if it prints badly I am screeeeeewed. But, here is hoping! I plan on having them at Comicon next week so if you are there, and want one... hit me up. (Please Mr. Mailman get them to me on time!)

As usual, I have procrastinated on everything that I wanted to have printed for the con... which means I won't be bringing much. I will be ok though, and do what I need to get done. I am really looking forward to it.

Postcard Creeping Forward

This is the scene I am putting together for a postcard mailer. I haven't gotten that far with it, but I was going through picking out a few light sources. It has a long way to go, but this should be a fun scene.

Now back to work.

The Postcard

Ahhh, the art of self promotion. I am starting an illustration that I intend to print up as a postcard. That way, I can send it around to Art Director types and they will see my ability to get postcards made.

This is really in it's messy rough stage, but I wanted to show the beginning. My scene is a little boy in bed, reading a book with his flashlight. His audience is a collection of some pretty awesome imaginary friends, including monsters, robots, knights, pirates, and the three little pigs. I have no idea how fast this will go, as I can really only work on it in my spare spare time.
