Hey Jeremy, when you apply the tones and hightlights are you still using the pencil but with a wider tip? and diff opacity? Im trying to get my tones to like this.. help
I usually go in and throw some tones down with the "Tinting" brushes. I do that on a layer under the pencil work. The only rule I use is... "make a big mess."
