So, I put Hellboy to bed.
He was pretty much done, and I needed to move on.
Introducing Agent"G Double O", the worlds first boneless secret agent.
Yeah... he's saving the world.

Well, the changes are getting more subtle now. I may call it a day on this after tomorrow. You get to a point where you can either take it to a REALLY polished stage, or you walk away. And I do dislike commitment...

Happy Monday.
I didn't get to do too much this morning, but I did mess around with the contrast as well as flesh out Hellboy a little bit. The darks look REALLY dark on the Blogger jpeg... hmm, may have to adjust that. Slow but sure... that is how the turtle won the race.

Also, on a side note, I managed to see "The Dark Knight" over the weekend and loved it.

So this morning I made some progress, then managed not to delete it. I started to lay down my colors, keeping them messy. I like the overall tone, but I know I have a lot of work to do to make it all play together.
How many times will the robot ask nicely before smacking Hellboy around?

The Mascara Warrior

Due to the fact that I just deleted all of my morning progress on the Hellboy drawing..... sigh.... my son is filling in for me. This is a shot of him just after he discovered that Mommy's mascara makes great warrior face paint, and her belt is an equally awesome weapon.

This is still feeling a bit stiff... I may tweak the posing a bit. I want the giant robot to be making a peace offering to Hellboy. Some sort of truce between worlds perhaps. Or maybe he's just getting ready to smack him.

Hellboy Rough

I have decided at least for this week to hold off on the usual "Daily Doodle" and instead attempt to finish a more thought out piece. This is my first thought scribbled out for a Hellboy piece incorporating the big red guy vs (surprise) a giant evil robot. Each day I will try to post my progress. I hope to work on it a little each morning.

Robot On Vacation

I spent the last few days in Orlando visiting my family.

It occurred to me that it might be rather odd if
a giant battle robot tried to go on vacation.
