Booooooo

No this blog has not become a show place for all of my corporate work. I promise. This week my schedule suddenly became too full, and now I find out that I am flying to Chicago for the day on Friday to go over an existing freelance project. So, that means that you get the M&M's.

Oh, and Happy Halloween.

Life is Sweet

It's Tuesday, and once again I must slap some old work onto the table. This week I have several big deadlines, which means I lock myself into a room and pretend I am not here. At least I get to listen to a lot of music!

Get Along Little Franky

Taking a break from the robotic letters for a bit. They won't stop at "G", but "H" may not show up until maybe next week.

This is a rough idea for the next Drawergeeks. The topic is "Universal Monsters", and I thought about doing western themed posters for each monster. The final look would be painted and texture filled. Lets see how far I get on these, considering all I have is "warm up" time.

The "Flurpatras" were said to have been constructed by the ancient Egyptians. While their original role was to protect the Pharaoh, a second version was later built to assist in building the pyramids.

It has been fun doing the letters as my warm ups this week. If all goes well I will try to keep it up next week. Thanks for all of the support! I will try to get a bit more creative going forward... ( I see you "E.")

The "Grind Bot 8" is primarily used on the colder planets. Exploration and excavation were once it's focus, but these days it has been reprogrammed to make snow cones in a variety of flavors.

My warm up this morning is the first letter in what I hope will be the full alphabet. I may take me ten years... but I will do this. I think the kids of today need more robots in their educational diet, and who am I to deny them?

After several days of solid work, a buddy and I took a small game break with HALO 3. Add multiple Mt Dews, a frozen pizza, and countless Oreos... you have yourself a wicked geek hangover.
